Opened in 2009 to provide creative and healthy hair services in central Phoenix, Arizona.
Existing clients, appointments are booked 2-8 weeks out depending on the service.
Please bring your own water. No alcoholic beverages. Scroll down for more information on booking appointments.
Same day, same week appointments are generally NOT available.
No walk-ins.
Exiting clients only (I need to know your hair first)
I know everything is costing more these days, and I am here to work with you! While I have had to raise prices on certain services, I do offer cheaper versions of existing services too! Just let me know what you need, and I can help support your budget. These appointments usually involve cutting less hair, not being as detailed, coloring less hair, and taking less time.
They are not the same as full services, but can help stretch out the time til your next full service appointment. :)
Dry cut trims (no shampoo or styling) - $35-45
Short haircut cleanups - $25 (for shorter cuts that need tidied up around the neck and ears, or to debulk around corners)
Bang trims - $22 - sometimes trimming your bangs refreshes the whole look!
Mini colors and highlights - $60-85 (color only applied along visible hairlines and part-lines to make your prior color service last a little longer)
Want to be a Honeycomb Client? Ambur is accepting new clients on a limited basis.
All new clients are required to pay a non-refundable/non-transferable payable via a payment link from square merchant services (texted to you).
This cost goes towards the cost of your appointment and is due at the time of booking your appointment.
$45 for hair cutting services
$75 for color services
The same booking rules apply as mentioned above; appointments are booked 2-8 weeks out depending on the service, same day, same week appointments are NOT available.
No walk-ins.
When you reach out, you can let me know that you have read all this, but I will double check…and most likely send you a long text message about it ;)
At that time I will also ask you your name, the service you are looking to get done (this helps me estimate time to find open appointments for you), and quote any pricing if asked. I may also ask questions like, “when was your last haircut/color?”, “how thick/long is your hair?”, “is this a new look or maintaining a current look?”, etc. to learn what I can before seeing your hair in person.
I am totally willing to work with your budget within the limits of my pricing - sometimes services can be accommodated to provide less so they can cost less, but I don’t really provide discounts. Pricing can be found on my services pages.
Looking to book an appointment? Please text: 480-234-4134 (no soliciting).
New clients, please read the NEW CLIENTS section above.
I prefer texting over calling, because sometimes I miss calls and voicemails. Texting is the fastest way to reach me.
It may take 24-72 hours for me to get back to you if you leave a voicemail.
Appointments are booked 2-8 weeks out depending on the service, same day, same week appointments are NOT available, No walk-ins.
Day of cancellations and no shows will be charged a $45 fee.
*If you paid a deposit and cancel/no show, your deposit is non-refundable.
Please google them yourself ;)
I like to stay as connected as I can with all the salons…but I don’t have the bandwidth to do this search for you. There are a lot of great stylists out there that do what I do!
I know it is 2025, but this is still a thing Honeycomb offers!
Your stylist will wear a KN95 mask at your request.
Please wash your hands upon entry, and wear a mask.
At each station there is a Germguardian UV air sterilizer. The salon space also runs a Swiss made IQAir GC series room air purifier rated for 1,125 sq feet in a 750 sq foot space.
If you need other accommodations, just ask and we will do our best.
What we are doing to make our space safer for all of us
Luckily hair salons are no stranger to strict sanitation practices. Even before the pandemic we were cleaning and sanitizing equipment and tools between all customers, we never re-use linens, and the shop is cleaned throughout the day.
To up our game we are doing the following
Re-certified in Barbicide disinfectant training on April 27th, 2020.
Attended “Salon Sanitation Guidance for Covid-19” webinar by modern salon, on April 24th, 2020.
Implementing updated comprehensive sanitation protocols.
Symptom screening before shift for staff.
Sanitizing all product bottles, tools, implements, and equipment after each use.
Laundering all towels, capes, and linens in hot water and drying on high-heat.
Sanitation between each client for proper disinfection of high touch surfaces (door knobs, sink handles, chair arms, chair seats, light switches, credit card machines, pens, etc..).
Washing our hands for 20 seconds before every client, or after touching our faces or contaminated surfaces. Making hand sanitizer available for clients and staff.
Changing our smock between each client.
Wearing fresh clothes upon entering the salon.
Staying home if we are sick, waiting at least 72 hours after a fever is experienced.
Wearing face coverings (masks or respirators) and using gloves when required.
Operating at a reduced occupancy.
Please read on follow these directions for your next visit
Reschedule if you are sick; covid, flu, colds, etc…I don’t want to catch it ;)
If you test positive for covid-19 or the flu, please wait to make your appointment until you test negative.
Please enter the salon through the back door (The front door will be locked from the outside).
Upon entering the salon, please immediately wash your hands for 20 seconds.
Do not touch your eyes, nose, mouth, or face during your appointment.
Stay at least 6 feet away from other salon clients.
Services and product sales will be by appointment only.
Honeycomb staff will be masked most of the time.
Disposable masks are provided for clients who want to wear them.
Please bring your own water, but we do offer filtered water for those who ask.
It is hot outside, and we live in a desert…so please bring a water to remain properly hydrated!
Bringing your own beverage and beverage container limits your stylist’s contact with possibly contaminated cups.
Consider leaving unnecessary items at home or in your vehicle to limit their contamination (Please keep items away from sight so they do not get stolen out of your car).
Consider paying with:
check
credit /debit card
contact-less credit cards or ApplePay
CASH is preferred!
Tips are appreciated, just because I own my space doesn’t mean I pocket more money, I have overhead costs and am actively working ;)
Some people tip, and some people don’t…I get it, things are expensive out there!
But please consider how most of the service industry relies on tips, especially small businesses…otherwise prices would be higher.
I am happy to talk about how service jobs should be fairly if you are curious to learn more.
Providing a judgement free space, welcome to everyone.
